Last month, I was very proud to be contacted by GAP Lebanon for an interesting project called “Styldby“.
To kick it off, I was invited to the GAP boutique in Beirut Souks to select a couple of items that I would have to style for my “styld by L’Armoire De Lana” photo-shoot. I chose a pair of “sunkissed” shorts in green and a striped drawstring maxi dress.
I styled the shorts in two different looks that I shot on the rooftop (21st floor) of the building I live in and on Eni El Mreisseh street facing the sea. As for the maxi dress, I styled it in one look that I shot on Ramlet El Baida’s public beach.
I want to take a moment to THANK Mokhtar Beirut, the photographer who was in charge of this photo-shoot. Honestly, it was my first professional photo-shoot and I had blast. Mokhtar immediately made me feel at ease and at the end of the shoot, I didn’t want to stop. Moreover, the pictures are stunning. Thank you dear!
After the photo-shoot, the pictures’ selection was done and I was glad to learn that my looks were going to be featured on styldby by GAP US. These features were respectively done on July 27th and August 8th (click on the dates for each link)). The second styling of the green shorts was purely for my personal portfolio.
More about the styling of the three looks:
1) In the Green: GAP ‘sunkissed’ shorts in green, white knitted long sleeves top from GAP, thin coral belt from GAP, beige wedges from Balenciaga, blue crocodile skin clutch from Nancy Gonzalez and Cutler and Gross green mirrored sunglasses.
2) Green and Silver: GAP ‘sunkissed’ in green, silver shiny top from “Maje”, pink converses and Kenzo vintage mirrored sunglasses in Silver.
3) Taking a beach stroll: striped drawstring maxi dress from GAP, collector Chanel sunglasses from FW13 collection, yellow neon clutch from Dior and a white and blue necklace from Zara.
