Summer is (almost) my fav fashion time of the year. I can’t seem to decide but anyways, there’s something about short dresses that can’t explain. For some of you, it might seem as the least comfy item but I personally think it’s the simplest piece that can be rocked in the most obvious ways.
This time, the post compiles 3 looks for 3 different nights of a typically raging Lebanese summer. We can’t stay a minute home and every reason is good enough to stay awake all night. Those pictures were taken in July before the holy month of Ramadan.
1) All black
This first look can be summed up to be about classy cuts broke through with a neon touch.
I am wearing: Zara black dress with a studded peter pan collar, Gucci black patent kitten heels and Dior yellow neon clutch
Location: Buddha bar, Beirut Lebanon.
2) 1920s all the way
Fringes are considered to be part of the 1920s post-war golden days. I love this trend when it’s subtle. This time I decided to go for a completely 1920s look with both the wavy hair and the kitten heels.
I am wearing: Zara fringed and sequined dress, Gucci black patent heels and I also carried a tiny black patent Elie Saab clutch but it’s not on the picture.
Location: Al Mandaloun club, Beirut Lebanon.
3) Nude and Coral
Nude and coral tones are the colors of this summer. Imagine then how in awe I was when I found this Sandro dress. The combination of the two colors is great and the embroidered belt makes the cut way nicer on the waist.
I am wearing: Sandro dress, Gucci kitten heels, Chanel purse, YSL arty ring.
Location: Music Hall, Beirut Lebanon.
I’m sure you’ve noticed that the heels were the only common element but I really couldn’t resist them because they’re by far my comfiest pair!
