When dressing up for a fashion show, I find it interesting to chose one hint from the designers’ classic and style the outfit around it. For Chanel, wearing pearls, tweed or a black and white outfit would seem evident (whether or not the clothes are from other brands, we’re focusing on elements/materials/iconic details).
I was lucky to take a look at my mother’s closet and steal a gorgeous white tweed jacket with silver details. Rather than going for a classic Chanel brooch, I went deeper into her closet and found a huge brooch that I could wear in the most innovative way. I chose to wear it as a shoulder brooch. For a very structured and military look, I decided to completely close my jacket and very carefully put the brooch on one of the shoulders. To make my look a bit softer and add a daring hint, I went for my favorite high-waist black Zara shorts. And what better than adding a pair of vintage Chanel sunnies to this look?
I am wearing: white and silver jacket from Chanel, statement brooch from Chanel, vintage sunglasses from Chanel, black tights from Wolford, black patent heels from Dior, dark grey clutch from YSL and black high-waist shorts from Zara.
