Everyone is talking about Victoria Beckham and her amazingly great debut in fashion. She keeps on surprising us and all the magazine covers want her! For May 2012, Victoria Beckham was featured on two different editions of Harper’s Bazaar: UK and China.
As the covergirl of British Harper’s Bazaar’s May 2012 edition, Victoria was photographed in Prada by Camilla Akrans. This shoot was titled “Queen Victoria”. I loved how they tried to capture her in very summery looks including brands like YSL, Rochas and Jimmy Choo. Makeup artist Yumi Mori did a great choice and her hair stylist Alain Pichon only made her look like herself. The flowers on the back of the cover add so much grace to her look!
Photographed by Chen Man for Chinese Harper’s Bazaar’s May 2012 edition, Victoria’s look is more striking as her hair is turned fire red. She is unrecognizable! It’s really rare to see her opting for such a bold look and I guess it’s a great change! The focus of this cover is on the very artistic makeup: feathered eye shadow with a major use of gold. Her heavy-looking earrings are also something we would never see her choosing!
I personally love how effortless yet graceful she looks for Harper’s Bazaar UK but I like the fact that she went for something bold and agressive for China’s Edition; fashion is about trying out new things!
