When it comes to Chanel, I’m the weakest person ever. Another dream of mine would be of course to attend one of their Couture shows as I’m sure that seen from close, the work must be crazy.
Yesterday, Lagerfeld proved once again that he’s still at the top of his game as he presented a “new vintage” themed show. In fact, the designs were all about giving a modern twist to the brand’s fashion archive (the tweed, the pearls, etc.).
The show featured: shimmering fabrics, tweed skirt suits, ensembles from the 50s and 60s, bold textured checks in black/grey/white, strong shoulders, ensembles with pink tulled fringing a la 1920s, double-breasted A-lines and Peter Pan collars.
Stay tuned for more of Paris Haute Couture week the coming days!
