For the last few months, I’ve been traveling for work and urgent personal matters, hence I’m rarely having the time to take a couple of hours off. Thankfully, during my last trip to Dubai, I had the chance to take the Easter weekend off and rest a little bit before completing few meetings with brands and PRs based there.

I had already tried the Talise Spa at Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the one at Jumeirah Zaabel’s hotel but never the one at Burj Al Arab so I thought, why not?

To completely embrace the Emirati mood, I decided to go for the Arabian Journey treatment. All of the products used for this treatment were exclusively created for Burj Al Arab so I thought it would interesting to discover new treatments.

It started with a foot massage, followed by a scrub using desert sand and verbena. The use of desert sand is simply genius!! After the scrub, I took a shower and the treatment continued with a very relaxing massage using patchouli oil (the smell is delectable!). As you might be imagining in your little heads, it was blissful. Usually, I don’t usually like scrubs as I find their results very short-term efficient, however, I fell in love with the desert scrub massage, it was truly super efficient! Also, they used amber to create the most beautiful scent in the massage room..an absolute must-try!
