As I recently promised, L’Armoire De Lana is yet to bring very different types of posts to keep you in touch with le monde de la mode.
Damir Doma is a Croatian-born designer who studied fashion in Germany and is now located in Paris. He launched his first menswear collection on the official schedule for the Spring Summer 2008 season part of Paris Fashion Week, and three years later showed his first womenswear prét-à-porter collection for Autumn Winter 2010.
His designs are all about a change in proportions and a mix of textures. I love the silhouettes that he draws and he definitely has his own cuts for womenswear. I also like how through his creations, he pushes forward all the elements so dear to the androgene trend.
His collections are exclusively available at Piaff Boutique in Lebanon and I enjoyed playing dress-up last week under the lens of Charbel Saade and with the help of Jinane.
I set myself this challenge of styling few outfits using only the Damir Doma collection, it was so much fun!
1. The below skirt is to die for! I love the asymmetrical hem and how it looks like it has a belt! Styled them with Tila March heels.
2. Outfit 1: I’ve wore a belt also by Damir Doma to have a nicer structure in the outfit, Outfit 2: Also wearing a Pitch watch, Tila March heels, Outfit 3: The necklace is from LaTonkinoise, the rings are PDB Jewelry and the boots are Maison Martin Margiela (MM6).
3. Going black on black because this winter it is THE color. Wearing Tila March grey suede ankle boots.
The pieces are exquisite and definitely deserve to be put forward. I encourage you all to go check out this collection and buy one of these gorgeous pants or blouses. You won’t believe how good the fabrics used are until you check these pieces out. I know I’m getting that sexy skirt!
