We’re lucky to have a very warm fall season in Beirut but I can’t help but feel it’s time to say goodbye to the sunniest time of the year. There’s something about summer that makes us feel free, happy, light and that gives us very strong positive vibes. I’m blessed to have spent a wonderful summer with my dearest ones but every good thing comes to an end and it’s time to get back to work!
But hey, I have to admit it. I’ve got the summer blues. And I’m sure you do too. I can’t explain this little sadness and anxiety that takes over my emotions at the end of every summer escape. I love my job and it’s what keeps me going but I read once in psychology book that no human can fight this anxiety that comes from the “end of something” with the “start of something else”.
Wondering how to cope with this melancholy and get back on track? GET YOUR ROUTINE BACK. It’s all about these little things that are fixed in your schedules that are going to make you feel safer about wandering into the next season. I love getting back to my gym routine, to my daily work appointments, to my hectic photo-shoots, to my late night article dues.
Loved illustrating these posts with one of my favorite dresses this season. Myringuet is a lovely Australian brand that I actually discovered recently during a quick shopping spree at Leanna’s Boutique in Saifi Village (this is not a sponsored post :)). I genuinely fell in love with this brand, the fabrics used, the very colorful prints. You honestly must check-it out!
As long as you remember that every season comes to an end, the weeks will fly by and we’ll find ourselves again by the beach sipping on our favorite iced lemonade (can’t wait).
I am wearing: Myringuet dress from Leanna’s Boutique (Saifi Village, Beirut, Lebanon) and Gianvito Rossi cap toe beige pumps.
