*A pinch of ethnic spices:

We couldn’t keep our eyes away from all the fur coats, camo parka, fringed tops, Victorian style shirts, tassel earrings, oriental patterned stockings, military tribal prints…Dsquared’s interpretation for their winter collection was eclectic, fulfilling every urban-chic lover’s desires; a collection experimenting with different materials, styles and cultures just like a spicy history book.

*One “ruffle” mushroom:

Those bright blue high Fendi boots will definitely make a hit this season! Frilled tops and more frilled tops on boots, yoked blouses, pleats, killer boots… all personified Karl Lagerfeld’s inspiration that drew waves and sound on each of his work of art.

*Slim slice of Victorian corset:

Prada revived the Victorian underbust corsets by giving them a more casual approach, making them a daring garment that is not so revealing and an instant and intriguing day dress without being too casual. The not-so-usual mixing and matching, invited every fashion freak to experiment with different Prada products.

*Sugarcoated color blocks:

The Emilio Pucci runway mastered the fine art of colour blocking and incorporated blue, pink, coral, purple and white all together in a sweet subtle way. Colours themselves were introduced to new mixtures and identities on V collars, polo necklines and geometrical patterns and were poetically mixed with metallic hues and oversized chunky sweaters.

*One cup of vintage amber

Alessandro Michele reinvents the puffy 1980’s shoulders and associates it with bodices from the 16th century silhouettes to maintain the vintage inspired feel he invented a while ago for Gucci. Classic retro colors and prints are blended together to create a mature filtered nostalgic yet modern expression.
