Because every woman has a little of the elegant, modern, and whimsical Chloe girl in her. While the reveal of this collection took place on the International Women Day, everything about the creations was screaming for a soft yet strong femininity. I loved arriving to the show and finding a beautiful note within the little press release folder, it said:
“Work for a cause, not for applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don’t strive to make your presence noticed. Just make your absence felt.” The most beautiful message, leaving me in a mindset full of positivity, ready to celebrate everything that would hitting the catwalk.
Chloe’s FW15 celebrated the sometimes nonchalant modern girl who believes in fairytales. The real Chloe girl.
The color palette was perfect; somewhere between preppy and menswear: powder tones, lavender, beige rose, deep navy, ivory, umber, heather green.
My favorite looks included the very graphic and dense patchwork of knitwear and the garden florals blooming on the silk velvet and jacquards pieces. I couldn’t resist the oversized cape coat, the fringed poncho, the military details and the effortless lace-trimmed looks. Truly a beautiful vision for next winter, bringing together very different elements completing each others for a harmonious collection celebrating the extremely stylish girl next door!
