Privacy is something bloggers are always thinking about. It’s definitely a concern and something any person should carefully consider before entering the online realm. When deciding on how much to share online, it’s a very personal decision. I believe there are no rules to abide by and each blogger has the final say on what they publish on their blogs, which can be both liberating and intimidating. Today, with social media taking over our lives, we all have to set privacy rules, to know where to draw the line.
For example, most bloggers out there freely share about their boyfriends/husbands and while I’ve been hesitant about doing so (even though my wedding went viral), I chose to do so whenever I truly feel like doing so. I believe it’s a balance that gets created over time with experience, with trial and error. When I decided to blog, it was before I wanted to share with others everything about my vision of fashion, my lifestyle and a lot of my private moments. I shouldn’t back off now, I should learn to share a little bit more every now and then and probably less another time.
It hasn’t been easy for me to go for revealing dresses or pieces on my blog because of my shy nature. This dress, a beautiful combination of a sheer fabric for the bottom part and a metallic black for the upper part is something very different than what I would usually wear. Sometimes, we feel it’s about time to get out from our safe places to try out something new. I love wearing pieces that make me appreciate my body, love myself, be more confident.
I am wearing: House of Ronald dress, Gianvito Rossi pumps.
