Whether you have to do it for work or it’s a question of personal taste, matching details from your top and bottoms can turn out to be the best pairing. Yes, today’s suit doesn’t come prefab’!

When I think classic silhouette, I imagine the regular suit pants styled with a blazer from a different color or print. Add an accessory. Change your lipstick. Make classic look better. I’m not implying that classic isn’t a perfection already. But embrace change.

When I think cropped, I want to wear the cropped suit pants with a pair of heels to elongate my silhouette, you could also go for slippers or office-like loafers.

Slouchy? Yes, why not? Don’t go too far. I’m not talking about the unflattering slouchy shape that will not look elegant. I’m thinking about the relaxed fit that ruled the runways this season. Wear loose trousers with a form-fitting top and a tailored blazer for a very polished look. Think pastel colored pants with a white blazer.

Straight legs? Oh yes, my favorite these days. Imagine black and white printed silk straight leg pants with a white shirt and a black velvet blazer with gold details. Love going for office-wear for my everyday looks.

On a personal note, I’m recently loving pieces that have embroideries and little beadings that can make a statement. I love how the trends are evolving into making these pieces essential to our closets, making us forget the ‘bling bling’ approach. Yes, you can look simple a beaded shirt with elegant slouchy pants, it’s all about keeping the rest of your accessories neutral.

I am wearing: Chloe shirt and pants, Gianvito Rossi pumps and earrings from Macle Jewelry.
