I’ve discovered my love story with the white color last summer when I was in a complete bridal mood. I love the fact that this color is back in trend. I don’t agree when certain people say you can’t sport white unless you’re a little bit tanned. There are now several shades of white that could perfectly match any skin tone. The trick is to have the best bronzer in your makeup pouch and make sure to go for the right natural makeup to make your face shine when wearing white. If you’ve been following the blog for a while already, you would notice that I’ve been in a minimalistic mood for the past few months. I love wearing textured fabrics and new cuts, keeping everything else simple. The bare midriff trend is something that I had never tried on before but now that I have taken some kilos down, it was time to enjoy a summer feel. As I always repeat, dress your body shape, find the little tricks that will make your looks standout yet make you feel comfortable.
For this look, the vintage necklace made the difference. I wanted something that belonged to the past and could perfectly contrast with the modernity of the cuts. I decided to go for this purse because I needed something that could fit my notebook, my camera, my lipstick, in brief, all of these little things we need throughout a hectic Couture week day.
I rarely use foundation as I grew up raised by a mother that is completely against it. Hence, I try to focus the makeup on my eyes or lips. With this gorgeous white ensemble, I went for tanned cheeks, a lot of mascara, defined eyebrows and nude pink matte lipstick.
I am wearing: Karoline Lang top and skirt, Dior pumps, Givenchy vintage necklace and a Chloe purse.
