The main key about wearing mules is making sure you don’t look like your grandmother. Yes, once a signature shoe for the over-60 set, this pair has received, in my opinion the most youthful makeover. I love how everything classic is back in trend in crazy ways.

However, not many people will adopt this trend despite it being one of the best out there for the summer. Suffice it to say having mule heels in our closet is a must. In the 60s, mules were known for their backless clogs heels, often with a closed toe design.  Now they are back with slimmer heels, sleek stilettos, block heels, wedges and many other styles.

It is the kind of shoes with which you can wear anything; it goes with every summer outfit: pants, shorts, culottes, dresses, skirts, you name it!

For women who don’t really like high or thin heels I suggest you go for blocked mule heels or wedges; not only are they trendy but also very comfortable. Blocked mule heels are definitely my favorites, especially if you can find the one with an ankle strap or an open top.

Also, for the block heels and wedges you can find the double strap mule, the closed toe mule and even pointed, closed or open toe platforms. As for women who love high heels I suggest you go for sleek stiletto, they are super sexy and have different types of style as well. In brief, there’s a pair of mule for each one of you out there!

I’m still looking for the perfect one, hesitating whether I should go for colors or for plain black? Have you got your eyes on any specific pair? Share with us!
