Style your closet: Vintage Seekers

One of the key handbags to have this Winter is the ‘vintage bag’. Before going into that, I think it’s important for me to further define the “vintage” term. Most people use it nowadays to qualify any object that is antique. However, Retro/Vintage is specifically attributed to the period from 1920 to 1980; meaning that a vintage item is one that belongs to that time of history.

What’s a Vintage Bag? First of all, it has a structured form. A vintage bag has very elegant lines with a formal touch and it usually comes in a timeless color like camel or dark brown. It is the favorite item for the working lady but also the woman who goes for casual lunches with her friends.

Vintage Seekers is one of the best adress for a gorgeous and real vintage handbag. I’ve picked three 1920s suitcases from their website for you today. As you will see below, they’re gorgeous and real vintage objects have extremely high prices but some people are real vintage collectors and they’ll do anything for stuff like that!

1920s Large Painted Leather Suitcase/Hat Box (For Around $410)

920s Louis Vuitton Orange Vuittonite Train Case- (Around $11,000)

1920s Crocodile Suitcase (For around $700)

Keep in mind, that now most designers re-create vintage-like handbags and objects. I’ll be posting that soon on L’Armoire De Lana just for you.

Till then, enjoy!

Fashionably yours,

                                 Lana xx
