L’Armoire De Lana for Aura Headpieces

December 2014 was one of the most exciting months for L’Armoire De Lana. I was very happy to reveal my collaboration with Aura Headpieces via Lebelik.com on creating a lovely headpiece for the Fall Winter 20140-15 season. It came right in time for the holidays and we were very excited to sold out twice!

When Carolina Chammas and I teamed up to create this item, we wanted something gorgeous, opulent, different. Given the fact that Aura Headpieces is always about creating the right piece for Princesses (from the Arabian to the Greek Princesses and more); I wanted to find a Princess that didn’t have its Aura Headpiece available yet.

Inspired by the strong influence of South of Italy on the current fashion world, I thought of working on a Sicilian headpiece/tiara. Our “Lana” headpiece is a handmade piece made of a gorgeous gold fabric on which several colorful studs are beaded. The result looks stunning and we were proud to see a couple of celebrities wearing it and several people dressing it down with their casual outfits or dressing it up to attend holiday parties and even weddings.

I am wearing: Karoline Lang FW14 Dress, the “Lana” Headpiece by Aura Headpieces, Saint Laurent Paris pumps and an Elie Saab clutch.

Hair: Sami Idriss from Tony El Mendelek

Makeup: Suzie Haddad

Thank you Louise Doumet and Lebelik for making this possible, thank you Bouchra Boustany (my blog manager & the best PR in the world<3)  for perfectly putting this collaboration into place and last but not least; thank you Carolina for being the best at what you do and for bringing to life the exact design I had in mind.

We’ve got a new stock available on LEBELIK; hurry up before we sold out again!

Fashionably yours,

Lana xx
