Lana reviews: Alberta Ferretti Fall/Winter 2012-13 #MFW

I fell in love with Alberta Ferretti’s Fall/Winter 2012-13 line! I might be biased but I  only blog about things that I genuinely love and I guess it’s something you’ve noticed as I don’t fully cover the fashion weeks.

With Ferretti, dark colors and sheer fabrics were also the trend. Again, it was winter romance combined with a masculine feel (with the sweaters and the mannish cashmere coats). Again, the spotted colors were jewel tones with red, emerald, purple and plum/burgundy.  Crocodile is also a trend with Alberta Ferretti and was used for the coats’ belts.

Here’s what Ferretti said about this collection: “I wanted to express a new idea of feminine seduction. A seduction that I have imagined more resolute, stronger yet more fashionable and with personality and also determined by the mystery.”

"seduction...determined by mystery"

Last but not least; fur, pencil skirts, beads, feathers, metallic fabrics and long leather gloves were also part of the varied collection; trends that we’ve already spotted in New York and London.
