It’s Me, it’s not You

s stand out. Just like any other morning, I woke up in panic mode, opening all my closet doors, trying to figure out what outfit to put together to make it on time to my meetings. It took me a second and my eyes got stuck on that preppy little mustard purse. Aha, today it’s going to be all about you! I knew in an instant that I could put anything together and this little statement piece would turn my look into a chic one.

Color-blocking has been a style for a while already but who would work on a outfit starting from the purse? Well, everyone. I mean we all have this little seasonal buy we’re so in love with that we want to try to imagine a whole outfit just to take it out!

I wanted to go all black with a twist. Stretchy leather leggings with a black halter neck top (love them!!) and a gorgeous shimmery long cardigan and a belt strongly tied around my waist. I went for black and burgundy pumps to break the monotony and the yellow purse came in to create a contrast.

You certainly make your outfit stand out in the way you carry yourself, the way you walk, the way you stand, the way you talk, the confidence you exude. But sometimes, it’s just all about these little items that make the difference. That bold purse was screaming to me, yes it’s me, not you.
