I’m Friends With The Monster

who didn’t grow up thinking a monster would come out from under their beds at night and eat them alive? It’s just incredible the things we can make children believe. From being our enemy as children, when adults, the night becomes the only part of the day that’s completely ours. Everything at night becomes synonym of resting, eating out, partying, spending good times with the ones we love. I unfortunately struggle with a very hectic schedule when in Beirut or Paris for work, it becomes impossible to find a minute for myself and these little moments at night are the ones I cherish the most. I love being home with my family, watching a movie with my mother, gossiping with my bestfriend, catching-up the latest “House Of Cards” episode with my hubby, binging on my favorite fruits.

Classic cuts are the shapes to go for this summer. When trying to pick a dress, go for the classic cut but look for a beautiful work of fabrics, for details, for this little detail making the piece a statement. I fell in love with this pale yellow dress, the color is a summer must-have but it’s the work on the dress that made me fall in love. I like it when a piece can be a statement just by having a work of details. I loved wearing this evening short dress in a very casual way, clashing the red shoes with the color of the dress and adding a touch of fun with the Fendi purse’ monster detail. Who would have ever thought we’d be sporting the most avant-guarde handbags, changing our perceptions of the little monsters hiding under our beds..:) #thismustbelove #fashionisfreedom
