Lana recommends: Hypnôse Doll Eyes Mascara by Lancôme

To be honest, I love a bit of luxury when it comes to makeup, especially when it comes to mascara. I believe it is the strongest makeup ‘tool’ to have. Every time, I’m tired and I have to go out and I don’t know what to do about my looks, a bit of mascara pumps it up!

My sister and Mum always blame me for spending most of my money on makeup and I decided to try to control that but there’s something about the promotional pictures of the Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes ($35) that made me curious.

Packaged in a nicely curved tube embossed with a rose pattern, Doll Eyes comes with a ‘patented i-Conic brush, perfectly shaped so the narrow tip easily reaches those tiny inner lashes, while the broader base serves to fan out the outer lashes.

As you can guess, I got it and tried it! The applicator brush really helps making lashes look fuller and this mascara also does a great job of holding the curl all day. The black used is a very rich color!

I love the wide-eyed  effect on my lashes, of course it’s not as perfect the Doll Eyes models (who are they kidding??:p) but it is definitely noticeable. I’ve tried mostly all Lancôme mascaras and this once is undeniably the best one so far.

It gives volume, it lengthens, it does not makes clumps and it separates my lashes. So if you’re looking/or if you need a new mascara, you must go for this one!

Last but not least, I loved their campaign! Here’s the video, the idea is just too cute!!
