Dior Haute Couture: from 2016 to 1947.

Lucie Meier and Serge Ruffieux, designers who stepped up on the Dior ready to wear and haute couture scene after Riff Simons, made sure to emphasise the authentic work of Dior’s atelier in terms of technique and mastered a creative use of the highest and most refined fabrics.

The fall winter 2016/2017 collection, was mainly based on the Dior 1947’s silhouette especially for jackets and skirts, subtracting the corseting part and leaving room to much more serene and informal looks.

The aim was to produce a line that fulfils every young woman’s fashion needs, an effeminate yet not ladylike collection in black and white.
