Dancing to the sound of Paris

When we trying to be playful with styling, we usually add a little neutral touch, some black/white/nude or grey accessory always helps neutralizing strong colors or a too-daring styling. If you had given me this dress to style last season, I would definitely pair it with nude pointy pumps and a metallic clutch.

When seasons are changing, I feel we can definitely be more playful in fashion because we can bring together elements from different seasons and still feel very confident about the way they come together. We can also easily work with unusual color schemes and daring shades without having to neutralize them with basics. I was a little bit worried about mixing navy blue with yellow mustard, although for some people, it might feel completely natural. When Aya suggested adding the touch of white and gold with the clutch, I wasn’t sure at all. I rarely mix three very conflicting colors together, but I have to say I loved it. I felt amazing and extremely confident once I had the look on.

There’s nothing like trying on something that we wouldn’t expect loving and ending up feeling so great. Even the shape of the dress is something very new to my style, and yes, I couldn’t help twirling and dancing to the sound of the happy Paris I love.
