Hello everyone!! Here’s to the second part of our brow posts; as I previous said in the brows are very important as the way they look can change every single feature of your face. In fact, they literally frame your eyes and give you a very bold and beautiful look. If I had the choice to choose only one make-up step to do in the morning, I would definitely opt for defining my brows.
On another note, I believe everyone should keep their brows in their original shape and work on enhancing the arch if they already have one. Nevertheless, I don’t advise you on creating an arch from scratch. Artificial brows are the ugliest thing ever! DO NOT OVER-PLUCK!!
Step 1: Start by brushing your brows with a spoolie and trim them with the brow scissors.
Afterwards use the very famous technique below to arch and groom them; follow the lead of the straight line with a pair of tweezers.
My favorite pair of tweezers is by Tweezerman and is available in TSC supermarkets.
Step2: Using any eyebrow pencil of your choice (preferably a creamy texture) frame the outer sides of your brows and draw a line right below the hair then with a concealer brush smudge the pencil in.
Step3: choose 2 brow-shadows: color one slightly lighter than your brows and one slightly darker. Fill them with an angled brow brush, part 1 with the light color and part 2 with the dark one ; after filling them conceal around your brows with a fair concealer.
Step4: set your brows with mac setting gel in clear to keep your brows perfect all day long.
Step5: finally highlight your brow bone with the best pigment ever which is the vanilla pigment by mac.
After a lot of experimenting, this is my favorite and most successful technique to follow in order to define, arch and groom your brows correctly. Let me know your thoughts about this technique!
