Balenciaga and Alexander Wang are two of my favorite brands, I’m in love with the intake of Wang’s creativity on the French label. For Spring Summer 2015, Balenciaga went all black and white, nude beige and powder lilac. The level of research and creativity when it comes to the fabrics used is once again excellent. I particularly liked the mesh fabric that is present on most of the looks and the very elegant embroideries. Once again, like the brand got us used to, the cuts are to die-for. The classic off-shoulder was revisited in a very contemporary way and I am already dreaming of the the oversized waistcoats to transform our traditional summer silhouettes. A final note on the drapés that added a lot of femininity to some of the androgynous looks.
I might be honeymooning but will be reviewing my favorite runways from this edition of Paris Fashion Week, as I know you got used to my quick reviews and live coverages. Enjoy it with me!
