Around the World: Elie Saab RTW Fall/Winter 2013 – #PFW

Perhaps one of the most anticipated show every season, Elie Saab never ceases to amaze. This time the theme was “strictly decorative”. It is all about what the Elie Saab woman has to face when keeping up with modern times. Crepe satin jumpsuits, high-waisted trousers, sheer silk chiffon blouses: many of this items were presented amongst the first looks, giving to this collection a lot of weight when to ready-to-wear everyday looks. As for the night, the creations are much more feminine. Bands of lace, meticulous beadings, silk, sequins…everything was there. I liked the yellow he introduced, it adds up a little of sun to a very wintery mood. My favorite part of the show is when black and white looks succeeded each others. I’m in love with the white suits, they’re just fabulous and they remind us of old-hollywood glamour. I would so imagine Grace Kelly rocking one of these. As for the black dresses, each one of them is a masterpiece, classics that could live eternally in your closets.

Loved the smoke that was following the models on the catwalk, with the music, perfect combo

Fashionably yours,
Lana xx
