Wearing heels to a fashion show isn’t a rule, I mean it’s a necessity as a fashion blogger to always look sharp and inspirational but who said you can’t wear flats? For the Elie Saab ready-to-wear FW16 fashion show, I wanted to look different. Hence, I decided to go for something with a little more edge. Pairing a skirt with a floral bomber jacket looked interesting to me. And why not with a pair of flat boots? And one these little chokers that remind me so much of my childhood.
I love adding different touches to my look and I was feeling extremely comfortable with this outfit. The weather was beautiful and I loved walking to the show with the wing in my skirt. In winter, I love going for black but as summer is at the doors, I couldn’t resist this floral bomber from the brand’s SS16 collection. It’s just so pretty without being too girly. I’m a fan of florals but not just any print, this one looks hand-painted and that’s the beauty around it. The most interesting part of fashion week nowadays is to stay away from branded total look and allow ourselves as bloggers to express our style through mix and match. I loved wearing a clutch from the emerging Lebanese brand “Sweet Grip” because the emerald color is just perfect when paired with florals. I wore a very random black basic top and everything looked perfectly in place! I love love love that this look is a little girly yet edgy with a hint of boho. Chic. Chic. Chic.
Did my look surprise you? What did you think?
