For this summer, I chose romance. Lace is known as being the epitome for femininity, sensuality and elegance. Delicate lace has been growing to become one of the most important trend for the last two years. From skirts to tops, pants or being accents to accessories and main clothing elements like jeans or coats, it’s everywhere.
Who said lace should only be worn at the end of winter or during spring? I say that when it comes to lace, there are no rules. Lace can be totally Italian and a synonym of Dolce&Gabbana’s sicilian inspiration or it could be completely French by being the most refined quality of lace like the Chantilly lace. Lace is a fabric that can simply take on several identities and facets. The key remains in trying to always choose a very good quality in order not to fail your look. Lace is an extremely tricky texture and it could easily look very deceiving.
The other day, I attempted to look like I was out from a 1970’s movie. Loved matching high waist ripped denim with a pretty lace top from Hm Conscious. I added the vintage touch with my camel booties and my gold chain purse. Of course, red lipstick is always welcomed to transform it all.
I am wearing: HM Conscious off-white lace top, high waist jeans from Zara, marc my Marc Jacobs laced-up booties, Marc Jacobs coral handbag with gold chains.
Lipstick: Cherry Lush by Tom Ford Cosmetics
